This product is made with Eco Finish environmentally friendly water repellent without fluorocarbons (PFC).

Ceplex Active – high quality membrane protects against moisture and wind
The high-quality membrane Ceplex Active developed by VAUDE is waterproof, windproof and highly breathable. This keeps the moisture out and the heat in. Your VAUDE product withstands a water column of at least 10.000 millimeters (JIS L 1092 B). The membrane is made of polyurethane (PU), thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) or polyester (PES) and is 100 percent free of environmentally harmful fluorocarbons and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene). We also use Ceplex Active as a coating.

Primaloft Gold Insulation
PrimaLoft Gold Insulation is the ultimate microfiber insulation material. Ultra-fine fibers are specially treated in a patented process and then bonded together to form an insulating core that is incredibly soft, lightweight and water repellent. PrimaLoft One absorbs 3 times less water, is 14% warmer when dry and 24% warmer when wet than competitive insulation materials.

Temperature class cold
Each VAUDE glove is marked with a temperature icon. This classification helps to assess the overall thermal performance of the product and compare it with other gloves and mittens in the collection. The icons are only a rough guide. The actual cold sensation depends on various influencing factors, such as weather conditions, activity and physiology.
