With its slightly tailored cut, the waterproof winter coat cuts a fine figure both in the city and during a walk in the woods, and the wool padding keeps you cosy and warm in frosty and wet, mucky weather.

Tatonka has made the Stir W’s Hooded Coat from T-HardShell Recycled 2L. The outer material is made of 100% recycled polyester the waterproof and breathable membrane is 75% polyester.

Like Tatonka’s entire clothing collection, the Stir W’s Hooded Coat has a PFC-free finish.

The coat also has sustainable Lavalan wool padding for cosy warmth. Lavalan wool padding is made of European virgin wool and polylactide, a biodegradable plastic made from corn. This smart material combination makes the padding easy to care for, so you can easily wash the coat in your washing machine (30-degree wool program, follow care instructions).

T-HardShell Recycled
The waterproof and breathable two-layer material has a fine, matte look and is used for weather protection jackets and coats. The outer fabric is made of 100% recycled polyester, and the waterproof polyester membrane is made of 75% recycled material. The water- and dirt-repellent finish is PFC-free.

Lavalan Wool Insulation
Lavalan wool padding provides very good thermal insulation. It’s made of virgin wool of European provenance and polylactide, a plastic made from corn. After carding and combing the fibre blend, the wool and polylactide fibres are bonded together in a thermal process. The padding contains no harmful substances, is recyclable as well as biodegradable.
