Inspired by and named after Monte Zebrù in the Ortles Alps and made in Italy, Salewa’s Zebru Fresh bodymapping baselayers are made primarily from superfine merino wool blended with durable Tencel Lyocell from sustainably grown wood. The merino wool means you’ll enjoy optimal warmth and next-to-skin comfort, while Lyocell provides added moisture absorption and freshness.

Adding to the natural fibers are smart synthetic fibers enriched with a blend of natural thermoreactive minerals. These Responsive Yarns are able to absorb Far Infrared Energy (FIR) from your body and slowly release it back into your muscle tissue over time. The resulting increased blood flow, cellular performance and oxygenation leads to more effective thermoregulation, improved performance and faster recovery. Responsive is an integral part of the fabric and does not wash out.

The short-sleeve version of this baselayer for women has a body-hugging, athletic cut and stretches well without elastane. The 28% polyamide content also makes it more durable and dimensionally stable. An advanced circular knitting process creates a seamless, one-piece top- which guarantees you smooth comfort. And thanks to the 36% merino wool content, the Zebru also offers natural odor prevention.
